Â The harder graphite keeps the lines light, and the water-solubility means that the lines will begin to disappear as you paint (unlike traditional pencil lines which can remain stubbornly visible, even in a finished painting). Â Keep in mind that if you press hard with this pencil, it will likely still be visible if only covered in a light wash. Â It is still best to use a light touch!
